THERAPIES

POSTURE ASSESSMENT

Postural assessment is a thorough look into your skeletal system and where your bones are located at rest. The positions your bones, such as your spine, shoulder blades, pelvis, etc sit at rest go a long way in telling your therapist what muscles are working to hard and what muscles arent working hard enough.

MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT

Every joint in your body has what can be called a healthy range of movement. As you look at all of your joints and their ability to move within there range for most people you find insufficiencies which give us a road map to what muscles are tight and need work as well as what muscles are weak and need strengthening. Most mechanical pain that you are experiencing gets eliminated when we restore your movement to its ideal levels.

REMEDIAL MASSAGE

Remedial Massage is a blanket term that covers a wide range of massage techniques designed to treat not only the physical pain caused by muscles in your body but also to make progress with the original cause of your pin or dysfunction.

LIFESTYLE ASSESSMENT

There are many factors that lead to mechanical insufficient and bad posture. Our lifestyle assessment aims to look at the positions that you spend a lot of your time in as well as your goals, training routine, stress levels and sleep patterns to find the reasons why your movement or posture may be lacking.

ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE

Is the gold standard in soft tissue treatment in where your therapist will assess and treat any adhesions between your fascia and muscle tissue by applying the exact right pressure on the right angle while you take your muscle through its comfortable range of movement.

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY

Trigger point therapy is the fascet of massage therapy that aims to locate and eliminate "knots". These knots, also known as trigger points are hypersensitive bundles of muscle tissue when treated with the right pressure for the right amount of time get eliminated which increases the muscles function and flexibility

DRY NEEDLING

Dry needling to the naked eye looks just like acupuncture however it is based around western medicine which means the amazing results are much more likely to be replicated. We insert very thin acupuncture needles into the into the muscle to increase blood flow as well as into trigger points to deactivate the hypersensitive aspect of the muscle.

CUPPING

Cupping uses suction cups to gently lift and separate all of the tissues aiming to break any adhesions between skin, fascia, muscle, and bone that may be restricting movement. When these tissues are separated not only do they increase function but also allow a lot of blood flow between the gaps within the tissue which promotes the recovery of the muscle.
